The story of Wade is undoubtedly one of the most controversial topics amongst retired historians, bored scientists and failed scholars alike. It’s an ancient tale chock-full of wonder, mystery, music and marijuana. Wade, also commonly referred to as “The Masculine Cactus” or “Bogg’s Beast”, in North American folklore, is a hippie shapeshifter believed to inhabit the continent’s high green desert region and other parts of the Northern expansion. Wade’s existence is based on supposed evidence, anecdotal visual “sightings”, disputed audio and video recordings, photographs, experimental jams & other occurrences of “really strange shit”. Although totally unreliable , most accounts have described Wade as a gentle, happy-go-lucky green cactus-like creature ranging anywhere from 4 to 20 feet tall with a long cylindrical neck and two similar shaped arms held up in the “don’t shoot” position. It’s believed that Wade uses music and cannabis smoke signals as a way to lure in those who seek him. Those who have reported encounters ahve described the experience as "superfun" and claim to have engaged in several hours of deep philosophical discussion with the masculine cactus that often concluded with a painful bro hug.
